Our Redeemer Lutheran

Fellowship

The church is the body of Christ in the world today.  For the body to be healthy and functioning well, members should be of mutual support to each other.

As trust unravels in the fabric of our community, nation and world, we can take comfort that the Christian community offers opportunity for all to intertwine, supporting and bonding with each other.  Fellowship is the fiber of our faith community.  At Our Redeemer, we build rapport when we worship, work, play, and break bread together.  Some activities that knit our congregation together include tape ministry to the homebound and prayer chains to touch those suffering during distressing times.  A Lenten Seder Meal service held tri-annually is an opportunity to experience the foods of the Last Supper.  Women of Our Redeemer (WELCA), gather in small groups for bible study.  Annual fundraisers like the spring Chicken-Que, Meatball & Lefse Dinner and Easter Breakfast allow us to enjoy good food and fellowship.
