All women of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church are members of the Women of the ELCA.  We plan interesting and informative programs and events and we invite you to join us for a time of fellowship.  We are called to discipleship and committed to help and support women and children in crisis in our community and throughout the world by giving our time and monetary support.  We continue to remember them in our prayers.  As we work together for others, we grown in our faith.  And we enjoy the fellowship and friendship of others at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.  We look forward to seeing you at the meetings and events!


Overview of Our Redeemer Women

The individual unites of the Women of the ELCA have been organized to focus on three areas of mission or social action ministry.  The goal of Mission GROWTH is to provide a variety of learning and growth experiences that strengthen each woman as a disciple.  Mission COMMUNITY is about relationships among women of faith; disciple relationships which include God, family, other persons of faith, the global community, Women of the ELCA units, and the un-churched.   Mission ACTION is about being in direct servant roles.  Women are encouraged to show their discipleship through acts of faith and justice.

Purpose Statement of the Women of the ELCA

As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in church, the society and the world.
